I am Raj, 25 year old. I work in a 5 star hotel in service, as captain. I am from a middle class family. My father is a government employee, mother is housewife, 2 sisters, married.
I am in love with a girl, and she loves me too.
About my girlfriend, she works in an MNC, BACS. She is a very ambitious girl, used to work with me in the same hotel, when we fell in love, but left the hotel due to some reasons. i helped her in finding jobs which she joined and quit but now she has got stable job and is happy working in this MNC now.
But we can not marry. The problem is that i am a schedule caste boy, and she is a Garhwali brahmin from Dehradun. I know about my family, they love me and will accept a girl from other caste, i know this, as they keep asking me for my preferences and choices for any girl whom i love for marriage. I havent disclosed my lovestory to my family, because they may get tensed or try to convince my girlfriend’s family.
I have tried of convincing her for marriage as my family insists me to get married now. On my request she tried to speak to her father, not opening the whole story but indicating, if she marries a boy of backward caste, It was a great dispute and she tried of leaving me even. Her parents even want her to get married and settled now with some guy of thier choice but She has been denying for the proposals because she is not ready for the marriage right now. She is doing distance study, preparing for competitive exams which reflects that she will not marry for another 2 years.
I dont want her to marry me right now. My only question from you is what should i do now. I feel helpless, i love her verymuch and she loves me alot too. We are together since 2 and half years now and love eachother alot. But because of our caste difference we are little unhappy, and sometimes our conversation result in disputes and she tries to go away from me but comes back, coz she knows i love her alot. I dont want to disturb the peace at her home by letting her family come to know about me. She loves her family alot and can never ever think of telling them about me, coz she is afraid her father might do something, which will not be good. She has tried of leaving me twice or thrice, and have comeback, as she realised , she finds difficult to live without me.
I love her alot , but little confused, what should i do, because i know she will never disclose this to her family. She says ,her family trusts her alot and will never expect her to do such thing, and that too with a schedule caste guy. Its a matter of concern about what people will say, her family members, society, and everything stops when it comes to me my caste.
I feel very pity on myself, i cant do anything in this. I m afraid of telling this to my family even because i dont even have my girlfriend to stand with me. Neither i can tell this to her family , it will be a nuisance, if i do so. I dont want to talk to her regarding this , because she doesnt know how badly i m depressed or disturbed. She is fine right now and we talk regularly, meet once a week. We are very close to eachother and have been intimate aswell. . I dont want to loose her. I love her.
I dont want to talk to my girlfriend about this, because i have tried doing it, many times and we have resulted only in disputes, quarrels, not talking to eachother, but she has never made me felt bad about my realty, that i m an SC. She has always loved me. But she can never think of talking about me to her family as it will be not good for her, and me aswell.
She always say, she will be ok, if i will not in her life, time will heal everything.
Will it be so…….???

Nobody can prevint inter caste marriage. If parents don’t agree register it.

I was just wondering, whats the price range for the houses in orange county…..? Like for example house in orange county range from 1million to 15 million. Like can you give me the rounded number? Please Thanks!

Zillow.com can also provide you with house prices by neighborhood, etc.

P.S. Orange Co. is one of the hardest hit counties in the decline of house prices….

i want to buy a house so when I live there sometimes, after I retire, do I have to consider tax and any forms I need to file when I do the transaction?
i guess if I sell the house for a profit, then there are tax consequences from uncle sam. of course, since it’s become an investment? , heh?

you want to buy a home in another country? not a problem
however, if and when you sell it, as a US citizen you would be taxed on any gain you made on the sale

Im moving to Sydney next week and I had a unit lined up and ready to sign and then the realestate tell me there is no car space and the place is no longer suitable. I start work on Monday 12th July so I have just one week to find somewhere to live so Im guessing it will be a hotel for a while.
Does anyone know any cheap but nice hotels around the city that have car parking?

Cheap? Head for the Kings Cross area. The Lido Suites Kings Cross, 2 Roslyn street, starts at 140 dollars. Actually it is a balance of reasonable comfort and value for money.
